Yes it does!!!!!!!!!!!
But can we do better?
What conditions will make it go higher?
1.What happens if we add more Mentos?
2.Does it work better with hot Coke,warm Coke or cold Coke.
3.does crushed Mentos work better than whole Mentos?
4.Does diet Coke work better than normal Coke?

Experiment
1.add 150mL of coke to a 250mL conical flask.
2.add one mentos lolly and watch what happens.
3.This is to be done outside.
4. measure the height.

THE EXPERIMENT DID NOT WORK!!!!!!!!

I predict that I can cool a soda from room temperature to 5 degrees in 30 mins.

1 I took the temperature of a drink at the start of the period.It was 17 degrees
2 I put a soda drink in some ice water and added 10 spoonfuls of salt to the container
