The Atlantic Slave Trade Triangle Paragraphs
The Atlantic Slave Trade Triangle was a cruel and disgusting trading system that started in the
15th century. This trading system was an evil trading system because it involved Africans being taken
away from their homes and being sold into slavery. The Europeans would bring guns and other weapons
and trade them to African Kings in exchange for slaves. The slaves involved men, women and even
children. This part of the Atlantic Slave Trade Triangle was called the first passage.
They were taken from their homes and country and put on slave ships like animals.

They were taken from their homes and country and put on slave ships like animals.
In the next passage they were forcefully put into ships. In the ships they were treated badly because
they were now in control of the traders and they did not have show them any human rights.
They would get whipped for trying to fight back and a lot of slaves died. Some slaves would starve and
some would get thrown out into the ocean. The ships would travel across the Atlantic to reach their
destination. This passage is called the middle passage. Once they arrived in America, a life
of punishment awaited them.

Once they arrive, they were auctioned as slaves. People would buy the slaves for different purposes
because the slaves were no longer free but property of the person who bought them.
Some would buy them to make them work on picking up cottons on the field.
Some would buy them to make them work in their kitchen and some would buy them for sexual purposes.
Life as a slave was very hard. They would work for hours and hours on the field.
They wouldn’t get paid and were even punished if they didn’t do enough. The slaves would also sing their
own made up song while working. The songs helped them work because it expressed how they’re feeling.
Some slaves tried to escape and if they are caught they would get killed. Then all of their stuff they
harvested like tobacco and cotton would get transported to Europe.
This passage is called the third passage. This would complete the Atlantic Slave Trade Triangle.

Interland Analysis
INTERLAND BY GOOGLE
Introduction
Last week in DTE, we had started looking at a game called Interland. Interland is a game that was designed by Google. The game basically teaches you about how to be safe online. It has four levels, and each one of them gives you different tips on how to be safe online. We have played and have done our research about the design and what the objective is.
Digital learning Objective
You can find HERE!
Reflection
There were four levels and we had to play all of them. Each level teaches us different tips on how to be safe online. Kind Kingdom teaches us how to spread kindness to people. It also teaches us not be a bystander and to help people that are getting bullied. Mindful Mountain tells us which people we should share our own things and you have to avoid the pedophiles. Reality River gives us questions about a scenario and you have to pick the best answer possible. Tower of Treasure teaches us how to make a strong secure password and if you make a mistake you get basically get hacked. Some games are side scroll and some games are not. For me Kind Kingdom was the better level than the rest because it was easiest and it wasn't laggy. But overall the levels weren't that good and could have been made better especially the graphics.
