Carbohydrates

Carbohydrates
Complex- Full for longer (Starch)
These take longer to break down into Glucose.
Whole grain, brown breads, oats, rice, wholegrain pasta
60-90 minutes

Simple- Used up really quickly (Sugar)
Absorbed quickly into blood.
Side effect is we get hungry again quickly.
White bread, 2 minutes noodles, pasta
30 minutes
