James Hector

James Hector is a Scottish geologist and naturalist. He was born in 1834 in Scotland. He arrived in New Zealand in 1862 and was appointed Geologist of Otago. He arrived in New Zealand in 1862. He was the only scientist in Otago. He also became Chancellor of the University of New Zealand. He also founded the botanical gardens in Wellington. He also became Chancellor of the University of New Zealand. He started the botanical garden to acclimatise useful plants.

I am Immortal

I am always lonely but I can create life.

I can create Universes

I can freely destroy anything if I want to.
I will kill you if you get in my way.
I'm not a villain nor a hero
I will come to Earth and explore what there is to see. If I don't like it I will destroy it and create a new one. But before I do that I will make all the murderers and politicians suffer by giving them a slow death. Those who are good people I will keep them inside of my planet where they can have fun. But if they make one mistake they will suffer. Once I finished all of these I will destroy it all and create a new one. everyone will be safe and they will always follow me and if they don't they will suffer or I will throw them out and let them gasp for breath in the outer space. I will become their creator that they will know. If they're loyal enough I will give them powers so they are able to create stuff. Whoever impresses me the most will be the Arch commander. But those who fail will become my slave for 100 years. And that is how it's going to continue.

MOKO

MAORI MOKO

Moko is a tattoo thing in Maori culture. This tattoo is not ordinary because it is carved in to the person's skin. People would normally get this when they're a chief. TO be a chief they based it on how many kills etc.

There is also a woman version of this but its only on the chin.

Dilution Experiment

Aim: To dilute water using a purple thing chemical.
What is dilution: Making liquid more dilute.
Equipment: Chemicals, Water.
Methods: Put chemicals and mix it and it dilutes.
Results: It turned purple.
Conclusion: It turned purple and the water was not safe to drink. It was diluted because it was really dark purple.

What I did today

First period my class had Social Studies. We learnt about people in New Zealand before the Europeans came. Second period we had P.E. We played football. Third period we had Music. We did stuff. Period 4 we had Maths. We were learning about Geometry. Last period is English. I was writing an Essay.

Filtering Water

The first thing we used to filter were pebbles. The pebbles made the water slightly clearer. Under it was sand with filter paper so the sand won't go through. The sand helped it but not by much. Then we took the filtered water and took it to the next stage. The next stage we had charcoal and under it a piece of filter paper. The charcoal made it better but it still wasn't that clear. It was still a little bit dark. Then it went to the filer paper. The filter paper had very little effect. It still wasn't really clear unlike a drinking water. We then boiled it. I didn't drink the water because it wasn't really clear but one of my mates did.

I was reading the book Maui and the Sun. I didn't like the book because it was short and confusing.

Holes Character that I didn't like

Louise Walker/Warden:
I don't like this character because she is bossy and she is mean towards the other staff. She also slapped Mr.Sir just because she didn't really care about the seeds. Instead of her helping digging for what she was really looking for she instead sat and did nothing.

My Holiday

My holiday was very fun because I went to a church/youth camp. We went right after school on Thursday but I didn't go to school on that day so I got to play games and prepare before camp. My dad was one of the camp parents so he came with everyone there. We left the house at 5:00 and arrived there at about 6:35.  When we arrived the whole camp ate dinner and after that we started our program.

The 2nd day was very good and when we woke up went straight to the hall to eat our breakfast. Then after breakfast we started a praise and worship program and right after it we had free time before the next activity. The next activity was playing a game. The was to hit the cups with a pair flip flops and run to the next bit which was going to the flying fox to get our strings to tie up our flags for my team. Then I had to run back with my buddy back to the starting place and solve a problem. My team was the first one to solve the problem and we ran up to the hill and tied our flag. My team won and we received 1000 points. The next activity was capture the flag. On this game my tram won one again and receive another 1000 points.

The 3rd day was the same routine but different activity. The activity was we had to tie a balloon on our right foot and the aim was to step on other team's balloon. My team lost but we came very close. The next game was with a water balloon. The referee had to put a curtain in the middle and we grab a water balloon and try and hit each other. We made it to the finals but my team lost and the team that we lost to was the team who won the previous games.

On the last day the same routine but no games since the camp host gave the awards. My team came 3rd and that was very unexpected. After that we packed up then we went home.
